Chapter 01 · About LOADMATE

Thirty-five years of lifting India’s heaviest industries.

LOADMATE was founded in 1991 in Surat by Mr R.K. Garg — one product line, one conviction: that Indian industry deserved cranes built to international standards, here at home. Today, every crane is still designed, fabricated, and load-tested under our own roof.

Chapter 03 · Leadership

We started in 1991 with a single product and a simple belief — that we should build ourselves what we put our name on. That belief has stayed with us through every product we’ve added since.
R.K. Garg Visionary Founder & Group MD, LOADMATE Industries Pvt Ltd

That single product was the manual chain pulley block, built by Mr R.K. Garg in 1991. The belief behind it never changed — and it grew into eight product categories manufactured at LOADMATE’s Surat facility by an in-house team of 100+ engineers, technicians, and specialists. Design, fabrication, painting, load-testing, and dispatch — everything the LOADMATE name goes on is still built by LOADMATE hands, with nothing sub-contracted.

Leadership today

Knowledge builds machines, vision builds companies, and continuous improvement builds legacies. At LOADMATE, we work on all three every single day.
Mr. Manish Agarwal Chief Executive Officer, LOADMATE Industries Pvt Ltd

Under CEO Mr. Manish Agarwal, those three ideas run the company daily. Knowledge — a 100+ in-house engineering team that is trained, assessed, and certified continuously. Vision — scaling LOADMATE from a respected manufacturer into a national material-handling brand serving India and 30+ export markets. Continuous improvement — modernising design, fabrication, and processes year on year, so every crane leaving Surat is better than the one before it.

Chapter 05 · How we make it

How a LOADMATE crane gets built.

Every step happens under our control — from the first design sketch to commissioning on your shop floor.

  1. 01

    Design

Our engineering team specs every crane to your SWL, span, lift height, and duty class. CAD drawings are issued for your approval before any steel is cut. The crane that arrives on site matches the spec on paper — no surprises.

  2. 02

    Fabricate

Structural steel is cut, welded, and assembled at our Surat facility. Wire rope hoists, chain hoists, end-trucks, control panels — we manufacture all of it ourselves. Nothing is sub-contracted.

  3. 03

    Load-test

Every unit is load-tested at 125% of rated capacity before it is finished. Test certificates are issued with every unit. If it fails the test, it doesn’t ship.

  4. 04

    Paint

Surface preparation, primer, and finish coats applied to industrial standards. Epoxy painting suited to the conditions inside steel plants, cement works, and other harsh environments.

  5. 05

    Dispatch & commission

The crane is disassembled for transport, packed, and shipped to your site. LOADMATE engineers travel to install and commission. We don’t hand off to a third party.

125%

Every crane is load-tested at 125% of its rated capacity before it leaves the factory. Witnessed testing available on request — come and watch your crane lift more than it will ever be asked to.

Chapter 06 · What we commit to

Every product, to a published standard.

No verbal assurances. Every LOADMATE product is engineered to a written, published standard — each product class is designed, built and tested to its governing Indian Standard. Duty classification, structural design, mechanism selection and safety devices are all held to the named IS code, and a test certificate is issued with every unit.

  • IS 3832 Manual Chain Pulley Blocks

Built to the Indian Standard for hand-operated chain pulley blocks — covering design, materials, mechanical advantage, proof-load testing and marking. Every block is load-tested before dispatch and shipped with its test certificate.

  • IS 6547 Electric Chain Hoists

Compliant with the Indian Standard for electric chain hoists — the electrical, mechanical and safety specification governing duty classification, motor and brake selection, limit switches and overload protection.

  • IS 3938 Electric Wire Rope Hoists

Manufactured to the Indian Standard for electric wire rope hoists — duty classes, mechanism design, rope drum and sheave proportions, and the mandatory safety devices fitted and tested on every hoist.

  • IS 3177 Overhead Cranes (EOT)

Designed and certified to the Indian Standard for Electric Overhead Travelling Cranes — crane classification, hook approaches, clearances, mechanism design and the full schedule of deflection and overload tests.

  • IS 807 Goliath & Gantry Cranes

Structural design to the Indian Standard code of practice for the design, manufacture, erection and testing of crane structures — girders, end carriages, gantry travel and rail arrangements all engineered to the code.

  • IS 15419 Jib Cranes

Slewing jib cranes — manual and motorised — comply with the Indian Standard for jib cranes, covering slewing arrangement, structural design, duty classification and stability under rated load.

  • Indian Standards

Certified to ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health & Safety — covering design, manufacturing, customer satisfaction and workplace safety.

  • International Standards

For export and customer-specified orders, LOADMATE products are additionally engineered and verified to international codes — EN, ASME, DIN, ISO, FEM, IEC and CMAA.

  • ZED Gold

Zero Defect Zero Effect recognition by the Government of India — the highest tier for MSME manufacturers.

Chapter 09 · What’s next

The next chapter is already under construction.

Thirty-five years in, LOADMATE is scaling for the decade ahead — expanding manufacturing capacity at Hazira, Surat, to serve India’s steel, energy, and engineering build-out. More capacity, the same principle: every crane engineered, fabricated, and load-tested under our own roof.

  • Expanded facility

New manufacturing capacity at Hazira, Surat — built for higher volumes and heavier fabrication.

  • Deeper capability

Investment in fabrication, machining, and testing infrastructure across all eight product categories.
